Frequently Asked Questions About Our Spa and Massage Therapy

What is the difference between an add-in and an add-on?

Add-in treatments don’t add any extra time to your service. So, if you have a 50-minute massage with an add-in scalp massage, your whole appointment will be 50 minutes. However, if you get a 50-minute massage with an add-on scalp massage, it adds 25 minutes to your total service time – so your service time would be 75 minutes.

What do I wear to the spa?

Anything that you are comfortable wearing. During the massage you disrobe to your level of comfortability. You are draped with sheets so you are not exposed during the massage.

What is Chakra Balancing?

Chakras are main energy centers in the body.

There are 7 main energy centers in the body, known as Chakras. Each chakra is located throughout our body so that it correlates to specific body ailment and physical dysfunctions, each energy center also houses our mental and emotional strengths. When these energy centers are aligned you feel balanced, healthy, relaxed and whole.

You are in a resort, can anyone visit the spa?

Yes, we are located in the Cancun Resort, and while most resort amenities are closed to outside guests we are open to everyone.

We especially love our locals and return clients. Sign up for emails to get our latest specials.

We have a group of people that would like to get that service together, can we do that?

Of course! We welcome small groups, couples, families, private parties, and even give special rates to large groups booking a “spa day” for their party. Space however is limited, so if you are interested in booking a spa day for your group, do so as soon as possible!

My child wants to accompany me and get a service as well, is this permitted?

Absolutely! Massage benefits everyone, and facials are a great way for young people to learn to take care of their skin.

We do ask however that anyone under 18 be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

*if in doubt call for any additional questions on this matter.

What kind of facial is best for my skin type?

Our licensed Skin Experts will go over your skin type with you prior to any treatment, its part of the free consultation every guest getting a facial receives. From there it will be decided what product best suits the type of skin you have. We treat every type of skin.

What happens during a facial?

Upon arriving at the spa you will be asked to fill out a brief form, this gives the esthetician an introduction to you. (It is completely confidential).

When you are in the esthetician room, the esthetician will go over your skin type, ask you some questions about your skin. As the facial begins it will be a series of cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, massage and mask. It is very relaxing and very beneficial. It is definitely something first-timers look forward to a second time.
